This change led to increased popularity for rifles because people could easily clean them after every shooting session! It wasn't until 1978 that gas powered pistols became popular when Smith & Wesson introduced their 9mm pistol line! Pistol companies like Glock and Sig Sauer started producing pistols with strikerfired magazines in 1993. This change led to increased popularity for handguns because people could easily switch magazines without having to remove the entire firearm!
