For example, research has shown that tool-making ape chimpanzees possess bilateral hands that allow them to manipulate objects with both hands while walking or running; however this ability may only be recently acquired and probably evolved during very specific periods in chimpanzee history when they were facing physical challenges unique only to their species The first human specimen with unambiguous evidence for bipedality was found fossilized bones back in 1911 by Professor Arthur Conan Doyle as part of his work on deciphering prehistoric stone art . The discovery helped open up new questions about our origins and development as a species and has since been used by archaeologists and paleontologists to help identify pieces of human history across different parts of the world
