This location offers beautiful views of the Arkansas River valley and contains several restored buildings dating back to before the turnofthe century including a cotton gin building that once processed 6 million pounds of raw Material annually!

In 1907, the Arkansas General Assembly passed an act that granted permission for the towns of Telluride and Rogersville to be founded within Camden. These towns were located about 12 miles north-northwest of Camden. In 1909, the population of Camden reached 10,000 people. In 1912, Cecil Ager purchased land in what is now downtown Camden and began construction on what would become Ager's Bank Building. This building still stands today and is one of the most notable landmarks in downtown Camden.
