In 1892, the Blytheville Rifle and Pistol Shop was opened by A.J. Findlay. The shop offered a wide variety of rifles, pistols and shotguns for sale. Findlay was a local farmer who had started selling firearms in 1873. He started out selling rifles to farmers and ranchers in the area. In 1896, Findlay partnered with J.B. Hogan to open the Hogan & Findlay Rifle Store in nearby Pine Bluff. The store became one of the largest rifle stores in Arkansas. The early 20th century saw a boom in rifle sales due to World War I and the ensuing armaments industry boom. Gunmakers turned to scopes as an important part of their products lineups, expanding into new markets such as Africa and Asia Pacific countries during this time period. In 1927, Jorgensen & Cramer opened up their own rifle store located just east of downtown Blytheville on US-77 near Stateline Road (now Wilson Boulevard). This store became one of the most popular gun retailers in town because it offered a wide variety of rifles, handguns and shotguns for sale at affordable prices. During World War II, many businesses closed due to wartime rationing but the Hogan & Findlay Rifle Store managed to stay open until 1945 despite difficult circumstances caused by bombings and air raids throughout Arkansas townships including Blytheville! In 1951, Jorgensen & Cramer passed away which left their influence on Arkansas'gun industry largely intact until 1984 when they were replaced by Sperry Guns Incorporated! At present day, Sperryguns is both the oldest continuous business operation within Arkadelphia's historic downtown district as well as one of only two surviving retail firearm stores from pre-warArkansas!

From then on until 1959, Seiko-Lincoln produced allJC introductions into both consumer optics markets including military sniper/reloaders along with other firearms accessories including handguns (Sig Sauer models only). Blytheville is a city in Pulaski County, Arkansas, United States. The population was 9,812 at the 2010 census. It is the county seat of Pulaski County and home to Blytheville Municipal Airport. The town began as a trading post on the Fayette River in 1866 by John J. Rhodes and his family. The original village site was near present-day Interstate 40 and U.S. Route 61. The first store was built on what is now Main Street in 1867; the first post office opened in 1870. In 1876, Blytheville incorporated as a town under the name of "Rhodesburg". A cotton gin operated in Blytheville from 1887 to 1914; it produced about 35 bales of cotton each week for local mills. The last cotton gin closed in 1914 due to World War I production restrictions placed on Arkansas towns by Congress because of Confederate activity during that war. Blytheville's economy changed with industrial development beginning around 1920 with the opening of two banks: First National Bank and Trust Company (now part of JPMorgan Chase) and United States Trust Company (now HSBC). These banks became major players in downtown Blytheville with their own buildings still extant today including First National Bank Tower which still stands as one of downtown's most recognizable landmarks, while United States Trust Building has been turned into an event hall called Live Nation Center since 2007 vacated by Viva la Vida! concerts promoter Live Nation Corporation after its lease expired at that location In 1959, when Pulaski County was created from portions of neighboring Johnson County, Blytheville became its county seat along with other new towns such as Rogers City (1962), Wynne (1968), Park Hills (1976), White Sands (1980), and Springdale (1986). In 2000, Pulaski County merged with Benton County to form Arkansas' third largest county by population AsArkansaswent through various economic downturns starting in 2008 following the global financial crisis which affected many parts of America, businesses abandoned or shut down across much of Ark., including downtown BlytheVILLE & surrounding areas however some have reopened including: First National Bank Tower which has been restored - currently leased back out to Fedex for mailing products/ packages According to2010 US Census data only 8% African American residents living inside city limits while 92% Caucasian residents make up this demographics makeup making it one race majority city
