One company was called Cree and the other company was called Schmidt & Bender. The Laser Sight Company began production of laser sights in 1993 and they were initially marketed to law enforcement officers and security professionals. The Laser Sight Company eventually became part of Bushnell Technologies Incorporated.
Blytheville is a small city in Pulaski County, Arkansas, United States. The population was 1,825 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Little Rock–North Little Rock–occupied Metropolitan Statistical Area. Blytheville was founded in 1892 by Methodist missionaries as a settlement on the banks of the Arkansas River. The name comes from "blythe" (a type of wheat) and "villet" (a meadow). By 1901, Blytheville had become an agricultural center with cotton plantations and other businesses. A post office was established here in 1902, and in 1907 the town became incorporated as a city. The downtown area is one of narrow streets lined with buildings dating back to the late 1800s including two Masonic lodges and three churches built between 1903 and 1915. Most notable are several large Tiffany glass windows that have been preserved as part of Blytheville's history. In 1907 there were also six schools in Blytheville: one for boys and five for girls. With its rich history and close proximity to Little Rock, Blytheville has seen many changes over time; some more recent than others. In November 2008, Hurricane Gustav struck the area leaving extensive damage including homes destroyed or damaged beyond repair; total losses amount to over $60 million dollars ($ when adjusted for inflation). Residents were quickly evacuated ahead of Gustav's arrival which led to a significant increase in traffic congestion around downtown during its aftermath- something that has continued into 2009 although efforts have been made to alleviate some congestion issues through various transportation methods such as bike lanes/paths or trucking routes running perpendicular to Center Street

Blytheville is a city in Pulaski County, Arkansas, United States. The population was 1,811 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Little Rock–North Little Rock–Arkansas Metropolitan Statistical Area. The downtown area is home to the Arkansas State Capitol and the Blytheville Chamber of Commerce. The first people in what would become Blytheville arrived in 1820 from Illinois via Texas. They were joined by other immigrants soon after, including Scots-Irish and Germans who had come overland from North America. By 1830, most of the residents of this small town had either died out or moved away as land became available for farming or development east of town. In 1836, General John Custer led his 7th Cavalry Regiment through northeastern Arkansas during their campaign against Native Americans known as The Great Sioux War (1836-1837). After reaching Blytheville on October 10th that year, they camped there until November 2nd when they began their march southward through Pulaski County to Fort Smith and beyond. On December 6th they reached what would be called present-day Blytheville after hearing about it from one of their Apache scouts while traveling northeast along the Arkansas River near modern day Sulphur Springs. On January 8th, 1839, citizens of Benton County met at a meeting house on Main Street in what is now north side of town square to adopt a constitution for that county which would later be repealed by Act No. 975 passed by the Arkansas legislature on February 26th only five days before its expiration date due to lack of signatures from all but two counties represented in that body then living within the state boundaries – Benton and Pulaski – both still being part of Tennessee at that time (see constitutions below). When news arrived back east via courier riders that General Custer’s army was retreating into Missouri due to winter weather conditions near Corinth/Ft Worth he ordered his troops back across Kansas River into northwest Arkansas where they remained until April 3rd when they again crossed into Missouri and continued their retreat upriver towards Springfield pending word from General Hancock regarding Field Marshal Nelson’s movements westward across central Texas resulting in Confederate victory at Palo Alto Creek on May 12th thereby putting an end to those hostilities Although no building remains standing today within downtown Blytheville dating back prior to 1885 when schoolhouse #2 was destroyed by fire; several large frame buildings stood aroundtown completed between 1880-1900 such as Masonic Temple #1 & #2 which are now used as apartments; First Baptist Church built c 1890; also Methodist EpiscopalChurch built c 1900 & currently serves as City Hall; Bank Of America Building erected 1911 with Federal Reserve Bank inside & current serve as TV station studio & office complex . All these buildings have been extensively renovated over time with new windowsills installed throughout . Downtown has experienced significant growth since incorporation with more businesses opening up including restaurants + bars making it difficult not include them here given how much variety exists within this historic district . In addition many new homes have been constructed especially around midtown allowing for even more shopping opportunities if desired although some elements like main street may continue photographer's block feel
Blytheville was founded in 1881 by John A. Blythe, a landowner and politician. The city was named for his daughter, Blythe Jane. The first post office in the city was established in 1884. In 1916, the United States Post Office moved from Little Rock to Blytheville after it was purchased by the United States Postal Service.
