Benton, Arkansas is a small town located in Pulaski County, Arkansas. The population was 2,914 at the 2010 census. Benton is the county seat of Pulaski County and one of the five municipalities within the Arkadelphia Micropolitan Statistical Area. Benton is named after General James Wilkinson Benton, an American general who fought in the Mexican-American War and also served as United States Minister to Spain during the Spanish–American War. The community was founded on December 6, 1881 when a group of farmers started a post office in what is now known as Old Town Benton. The first postmaster was G.W. Hardin. The population of Benton grew rapidly from its initial few hundred residents to over 1,000 by 1907. In 1912, Benton became part of the new Arkansas Valley Railroad which connected Little Rock with Memphis and other cities throughout central Arkansas; this helped contribute to Benton's rapid growth and development since that time. In 1932, construction began on what would become one of Arkansas' most distinctive landmarks – The Arkadelphia Municipal Airport – which has played an important role in both local aviation history and economic development ever since! Today, Arkadelphia Municipal Airport continues to be one of America's leading airports serving SouthernArkansas with scheduled passenger service from more than 130 airlines! Today, many people in bend are proud participants in local government; through their elected officials they maintain day-to-day control over their communities while ensuring that their interests are considered by all levels of government including state legislature and U.S Congress!

When the user shone the flashlight over an object they wanted to see, the light would reflect off of the object and show onscreen what was happening inside. It was very useful for inspecting objects before making any decisions about using them. The early weapon Flashlights didn’t have much power but they did work well enough to be used in combat. In 1857, Aidek Dillingham designed and built the world’s first operational automatic weaponLight , which he called “Dillinger Rifle” after his own nickname – Samuel Colt had developed this same type of rifle two years earlier . The Dillinger Rifle was able to shoot nineteen rounds per minute (RPM) and had a range of up to three hundred yards! It wasn’t until 1906 that revolver-armed gunmen began using Weapon Flashlights in place of firearms in order to ambush their prey undetected. Weapon flashlights continued being developed through the 20th century until they finally became available as consumer products in 1949 when rayguns became available as weapons

In 1821, Benton County was established from part of the previous Arkansas Territory. Benton County is named for General John C. Benton, who served as commander of United States forces in the Mexican-American War. The county seat was at Fort Smith until it moved to Arkadelphia in 1868. The first white settlers in what is now Benton County were Giles and his brother James who arrived in 1799 from Kentucky. They built a cabin on the edge of what is now Arkadelphia and started a small farming operation. The first post office in Benton County was opened on February 15, 1800 by Nathaniel Lyon with the name "Arkadelphia". In 1801, John Ladd (a lawyer) set up a store at what is now Arkadelphia and began receiving mail from farmers and other residents of the area. Benton County became fully organized on November 3, 1821 when Judge Samuel Nicholson created a courthouse and jail at present day Arkadelphia. It was not until 1830 that voting began inside of Benton County limits though elections were held annually thereafter until 1840 when they were discontinued due to Indian hostilities within the territory which led to increased travel times between eastern Arkansas and western Texas for goods necessary for trade. John Aiken (1812-1892), an early settler in what is now Arkansas Territory, built one of the first steamboats running between New Orleans and Little Rock in 1837 which helped increase commerce along Interstate 30 during this time period creating new opportunities for businesses within rural areas away from larger city centers where prices could be inflated through adulterated goods imported into Mexico City or other southeastern U.S cities during that era). On July 10th, 1907 Mississippian Mrs Khola Maughan donated land to build a Methodist church near today’s town square just north of I-30 southbound exit #169 (the church remains standing today). This donation has been cited as being one of the earliest record donations made outside metropolitan Memphis or Dallas/Fort Worth During this time period major economic development took place within rural areas turning local economies around helping contribute to social progressivism throughout much of America including such endeavors as public education while also providing jobs to farm families across state lines thereby lifting many families out of poverty; becoming known as “The Great Small Town Boomerang” because these initiatives reaped great benefits down deep into communities across America over ensuing decades
