It is with great sadness that we report the death of one of our community’s most beloved members, P.T.H. (Pete The Hat)Triggerman extraordinaire and all around good guy. P.T.H., as he was known to many, passed away on Saturday morning after a long and valiant battle with cancer. Born in Bella Vista, Arkansas in 1946, Pete the Hat started his career as a triggerman for the local gun shop in the early 1970s when triggers were still something of an experimental technology. He soon became well-known within the community for his expertise and passion for Triggermen History trivia contests and other NRA events where he could often be found surrounded by friends old and new who would enjoy hearing about his favorite guns from him or teaching young triggermen how to operate them properly themselves at home using nothing more than their fingers! In recent years, Pete had begun to experience difficulty with his health getting better which caused him great concerns but also made it possible for him to attend numerous Triggermen History tournaments throughout the United States while still doing some occasional appearances at local gun shows too; always proud to have been part of such an amazing community that helped promote responsible firearm ownership in our nation! We will all miss you very much, P.T.H.–our HERO!

Bella Vista, Arkansas is a town in Pulaski County, Arkansas, United States. The population was 1,826 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Little Rock–North Little Rock–Conway Metropolitan Statistical Area. Founded in 1871 as a rural farming community by Methodist missionaries, Bella Vista became an important center for cotton and other crops during the early 20th century. Its growth stopped after World War II when the local economy shifted to service-industry jobs in both neighboring towns and outside of Pulaski County. However, Bella Vista has slowly regained some of its former commercial and agricultural strengths since 2000. In 2006, Bella Vista was one of five towns in Pulaski County that were chosen to participate in the Arkansas Development Program's "Towns for Change" initiative. The program provides resources and support to struggling communities in order to revitalize them and increase their economic potential. The town's history begins with Methodist missionaries who arrived there on horseback in 1871. They founded a small farmstead called Harmony Hill on what is now Main Street while they were preaching Christianity to Native American people living nearby. By 1890, however, most of Harmony Hill's residents had moved away because of cheap land available elsewhere in Arkansas or because they found it too difficult to grow crops according to their own methods due to lack of rainfall and heat resistance. Bella Vista did not become a separate community until 1912 when Reverend Jerald Ladd purchased 640 acres (248 hectares) around what is now Elm Street from Aiken family members for $5 per acre ($4 million today). He named his new community after his wife’s maiden name—Bella—and laid out streets and erected homes on his land using logs from nearby cedar trees which he had bought from Aiken family members two years earlier for $2 per foot ($10 million today). In 1916 Ladd formed the first civic group composed entirely of white citizens called the “Arkansas Citizens Association” (ACA). This group helped organize school bus boycotts throughout Arkansaw County as part of an ongoing effort by white farmers against black teachers without pay.) With increasing competition from other villages across Arkansaw County led by newly organized Department Stores chains such as Dillards', J C Penney', Sears', Montgomery Ward etc.,Ladd decided that it was time for him and his fellow missionaries no longer preach religion but sell goods instead; this change also signaled a turning point for Bellvista into an actively commercial community] For many years following World War II local businesses typically closed down during hard times due largelyto changing oil prices rather than any issue with customer service or product quality - this changed beginning about 1980 with increased mechanization coupled with deregulation/restructuring within companies such as BP gas stations etc.} approximately 1990-2000 when forces externalized began eroding Bellevista's traditional partnerships with key partners including state government services such as education & highway construction} finally reversing course around 2010 when more investments began flowing back into Bellevista through Fayetteville]} although still struggling economically some aspects have begun returning back towards pre-deregulation levels like job creation via startup businesses}}
