Alice's daughter Linda married Jeff Greenoughs and they moved to Bella Vista in 1987; he became mayor when he took office in 2003 In 2012-2013 about $3 million worth of renovations were made to local high school which included new athletic fields as well as repairs to existing buildings including a library annex and gymnasium/auditorium addition
