There has been a long history of airguns in Arkadelphia, Arkansas. The first gun was created in 1903 by an American manufacturer, Wm. H. Brown & Sons of Philadelphia, PA. It was a shotgun designed to use air pressure and pneumatics to fire rounds. This type of gun is still used today in some areas of the United States. In the early 1930s, Arkadelphia experienced its heyday as a center for firearms development due to its location on the Arkansas River and its availability of woodlands and other natural resources that provided material forGunmakers. The Second World War interrupted this development but not before many new firearm designs were born including the ubiquitous Thompson submachine gun, which would later become known as the AR-15 rifle; also available were handguns such as the Colt Python; Beretta PX4 Storm; Smith & Wesson Model 350 revolver; Ruger Redhawk bolt action rifle; Winchester model 1895 shotgun and even aircraft guns like the Lockheed P-38 Lightning jet fighter plane gunner's carbine (see photo below). During these years there were several mass shootings took place throughout America involving gunmen with airguns who killed many people with ease due to their skills with these weapons. In Arkadelphia one such event occurred on May 6th, 2011 when four individuals entered a local church then shot and killed six people inside before being fatally shot by police officers. Arkadelphia is a small town in Pulaski County, Arkansas, United States. The population was 1,711 at the 2010 census. It lies on the Arkansas River and is part of the Little Rock–Fayetteville–West Little Rock Metropolitan Statistical Area. Arkadelphia has a humid subtropical climate (Köppen: Cfa) with very hot summers and mild to cool winters. The first European settler in what is now Arkadelphia was Frenchman François Le Moyne enRoute from Canada in 1764. He named his new land "Arkansas" after King George II of Great Britain who had granted him asylum when he fled England during the Stamp Act crisis of 1665. Although France claimed all of modern-day Arkansas for its king, most of that territory was eventually given to England as part of the Louisiana Purchase in 1803. The present day city site was laid out by General Jethro Gibbs in 1819 when he purchased 2,000 acres ( swell ) north of present-day Arkadelphia from Moses Browning for $10 per acre ($740 per square mile). The city grew rapidly due to oil production on nearby Shale Creek and other drilling operations throughout the 19th century. In 1889, an act entitled "An Act to Regulate Commerce within this District" became effective which established water rates and created a municipal government under a board composed of eight citizens appointed by the governor with one representative from each county subject to representation by both houses through apportionment according to population size. In 1907, work began on building what would become known as "the great masonry bridge", which spanned the Arkansas River between Arkadelphia and West Little Rock; it opened in 1911. When completed, it was one of only two spans across river channels without suspension cables - an innovation that made crossing rivers much easier and faster than previous methods. During World War I, Arkadelphia played host to much Armored Train traffic including 123 trains carrying munitions over Shale Creek Bridge; over 3 million lbs (14 metric tons) were unloaded there during that campaign alone! After hostilities ended in 1919, local businesses benefited greatly from reconstruction efforts initiated by President Harding which included programs such as job training and housing assistance for war veterans In 1950s residents voted unanimously to change their name from "Arkadelphia" to "Little Rock". This name change was based on community pride rather than any specific historical event or issue that occurred within the town during those years

This pace of development made airguns one of the most rapidly growing arms on earth at this time. On October 3, 1938, the U.S. Patent No. 2,898,814 was issued to Adolph J. Kelsey for a gas-operated airgun that could fire pellets up to 25 feet away. The Kelsey gun was designed as a hunting rifle and used a metal tube with an 18 inch bore that inserted into the barrel of the firearm and exited through the back of the receiver
Arkadelphia is a small town in Pulaski County, Arkansas, United States. The population was 1,827 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Little Rock-North Little Rock-Arlington metropolitan area. The town was founded in 1881 by settlers from Illinois. Arkadelphia was named for General David Arkadian, who served as governor of Arkansas from 1859 to 1861 and as a U.S. senator from 1863 to 1865. At the time of its founding, Arkadelphia consisted of just a few farms and houses scattered around an area that today includes much of downtown Arkadelphia and most of the eastern edge of Longview Township. In 1886, the first school in Arkadelphia opened with only six students; however it soon became one of the leading schools in Pulaski County. In 1895, the first courthouse was built; it sits on present day Jefferson Avenue within what is now Longview Township. The townsite also saw construction of a hospital in 1903-1904 and another courthouse in 1907-1908; both were destroyed by fire years later but have been replaced by modern buildings on either side of Jefferson Avenue since then. Growth continued to be spurred by new businesses and industries throughout the 20th century: steel production came to town during World War II; medical equipment company Johnson & Johnson relocated their headquarters there after moving their headquarters from New York City; and other companies such as Monsanto (now Bayer) established themselves here over time including decidedly nonurban locations like White Sands Missile Range and Parkersburg, West Virginia where they maintains their corporate headquarters still today despite having no physical presence within Arkadelphia itself! During 2001-2002, changes occurred which would forever impact how Arcadia imagined itself – when fees were instituted for all public functions conducted within its borders (from voter registration drives through public meetings), this effectively killed any hope that Arkmontonians might want or need to engage with each other outside their immediate neighborhoods once again! Although some attempts have been made since then both formally - through events like ArtWalk/Fairencefest which takes place every year at various local art galleries - as well as informally through social media platforms like Facebook groups or Meetups Haven’t really waned until recently...the feeling seems pretty much always remain largely tension free these days outside even more so given current economic conditions! However things can definitely heat up if something feels off balance or doesn’t live up to expectations tho
