In 1968, Remington-Rand merged with National Firearms Association (NFA) to form NFA/Remington Corp., which remains a subsidiary of NFA today. During this time period there were several significant changes made to how hard gun cases are manufactured including: (a) importation of Chinese components into U.S.-based firearm manufacturing through state-owned enterprises; (b) use of airguns for testing barrel accuracy before production; (c) development of plastic injection molding techniques for handgun case production; and finally (d) establishment of a branch factory in Mexico City that produced high quality 1911 handguns until its closure in 1999

In 1875 Havasu City annexed neighboring Payson and on July 1, 1886 it became an independent city with a population of one thousand seven hundred fifty-eight citizens. On November 6, 1912 Yuma Municipal Airport opened to receive commercial air traffic and served as an auxiliary airstrip for Douglas Aircraft Company's Havasu Ranch Airfield north of town. At that time there were no paved roads in sight and only trails led to or from the field which made travel difficult so airport officials built a road parallel to U.S.-10 just east of town in order to make access easier for motorists and airplane operators alike; today this road still bears evidence of its original construction date - November 6th 1912! Yuma has seen many changes over its long history including two devastating fires in 1920 (the Great Fire) which destroyed most buildings within hours and left much collateral damage; also during World War II Yuma became one of nine U.S.-based cities located along Pacific Highway 801 that sheltered Japanese American community residents during World War II; following World War II many businesses closed due to low demand but new ones began more quickly filling up again as people returned home from overseas deployments into what had once been called “the war zone”; finally since 2000s growth has occurred due largely to increased access to both indoor/ outdoor recreational areas opportunities such as Kayaking/ Boating & Swimming facilities which have drawn people from all over metropolitan Phoenix
