Gun pouches, also known as gun cases or gun cases with straps, are a type of storage container for firearms that was popularized in the United States during the late 1800s. Gun pouches were designed to protect firearms from moisture and rust buildup, and they became popular among police officers and private citizens alike because they could be easily transported and stored. The early gun pouches were made of cloth or leather, but eventually nylon was developed as a more durable material. The first nylon-based handgun case was built by John Browning in 1903. The firearm case was designed to hold a .45 caliber revolver and had several straps to help secure it against dirt, dust, wind, and rain. After World War II, when handguns became more widely available, NRA began making nylon-based handgun cases specifically for the purpose of carrying handguns. These Cases typically held either four rounds of ammunition or two magazines. After the Second Amendment was ratified in 1968, NRA began providing specific instructions on how to carry handguns without having these types of cases Loaded with ammunition became increasingly unpopular due to fears that opencarry laws would become law in many jurisdictions following the shootings at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown Connecticut which left 26 dead and 58 injured. As such NRA created specific instructions on how not too carry handguns including using snap-buckles instead of screwsdriver type fasteners around grip panels etc., which is still followed today by many individuals who own pistols outside the home

Scottsdale is a city in Maricopa County, Arizona, United States. The population was 149,826 at the 2010 census. It is the most populous city in the county and home to Phoenix metropolitan area. Scottsdale is one of the fastest-growing metropolitan areas in the United States. The first settlement in what would become Scottsdale was made on November 13, 1867 when A.J. Palmer leased land from Juan Bautista de Anza for $1 per acre (0.50 km²). In 1870, Scottsdale's first post office was established and named after Colonel John A. Scott who had served as commander of Mexican forces at Fort McDowell during the Apache Wars years earlier. The town grew rapidly due to its proximity to Pima Air National Guard Base and other military installations; it became an important transportation center with a streetcar line connecting downtown with both University Dr., which served as Scottsdale's main shopping district, and Paradise Valley Rd., which connected Scottsdale Airport with nearby Mesa and Chandler communities. In 1916, development began on what would become known as "The Village", orangery style homes that were erected along Paradise Valley Rd., now known as Camelback Rd., leading into Old Town Scottsdale today; this development was part of an effort by developer Clarence Wright to create a self-sustaining community near Pima Army Airfield so that servicemen not only could live close by but also be able to attend local schools and businesses while stationed there; Wright's efforts paid off and The Village became one of Scottsdales most popular attractions beginning in the 1920s until it was destroyed by fire in 1970. In 1961, The Village was reborn as "The Square" followingthe successful completion of construction of Camelback Road North between First St/Medical Center/Scotty Madden Stadium/UDM Arena (now Gila River Arena) eastward to Third Ave.-northwest bound towards University Dr.; this redevelopment led to increased business activity around Camelback Rd.; later that year, developers announced plans for another large residential development called "Championship Drive". This project would include over 1,000 residences on more than 12 acres (4900 m²) across three blocks adjacent to US Airways Ballpark on Glendale Drive NW.; however no action took place until 1978 when plans were revealed for yet another large residential project called "grand opening". On October 15th 1980 came news that then-Mayor Harry Gardner had been diagnosed with leukemia; within two weeks he had passed away at his home surrounded by his family including wife Mary Augusta Gardner and five children: Verna Jane Gardner (bruise survivor from car accident), Edwin Arnold Gardner III (presidential candidate 1988 Reagan campaign), Kathleen Lynn Gardner (artist), Christopher John Gardner IV (director). That same month also saw groundbreaking take place for what would become known as "The mall"; boundaries between Old Town Scottsale & Highlands Ranch were reopened following public outcry over decades of Developers' refusal permission for a single store inside their neighborhoods While still under construction were two other retail developments: One located at EastInitial Street & Via Linda between McCormick & First Streets - anchored by Sears - becoming home to Safeway before being replaced by Dick’s Sporting Goods soon after Open House festivities began On January 17th 1981 when new Mayor Phil Strathmore opened Wigglesworth Mall - formerly Chirping Chick’s restaurant - adjacent to Champions Drive just south of I-10 service station entrance serving regional restaurants throughout metro Phoenix

Today's downtown Scottsdale was first developed primarily as an agricultural center with land used for growing crops such as corn, beans, wheat, cotton and watermelons until well into the 20th century; however, commercial development began soon thereafter with construction of hotels/resorts such as Ennis Hotel & Casino (1902), Fairmont Park (1910), Ritz-Carlton Hotel & Towers (1950) and Regency Village Resort & Spa (1964). By 1960sScottsdale had become one of Phoenix' largest suburbs although much more limited in terms ofresidential area than its larger suburban neighbor south of I-10. Today many major shopping malls are located within or adjacent to Scottsdales borders while several retirement communities dot its landscape including Camelback Ravine – home since 1912 to Microsoft cofounder Paul Allen – Winnetka Hills – built between 1925 and 1942 – Goldwater National Monument Museum District – established in 1987 - Sunnyside Gardens Retirement Community - opened in 1984 - Carefree Canyon neighborhood annexed by Scottdal in 1990 As recently as 2000s much OFA growth occurred mainly from Mexican immigrants working long hours assembling Camry sedans at nearby Pima Electronics Manufacturing Center (PEMC) which became largely obsolete following industry consolidation beginning in 2000 Some newer neighborhoods that have arisen include Westpark Village northwest of Downtown Scottsdaland Northgate Plaza just northeastof Glendale along Interstate 10
