At this point within MAGPUL USA there exists two distinct brands: Marlin Model 1894 assault rifle (M1894)10 and Mauser K98 sniper rifle (K98).11 This paper will focus on the history of ArmaLite products specifically pertaining to their upper receivers; these include both bullion models as well as standard versions chambered in various calibers such as 5mm (.223), 6mm (.308), 7mm (.30 caliber), 8mm (.357 SIG), 9mm Lugar (.44 Magnum), 10 mm Auto Pistol (.40 S&W)12 , 12ga Shotguns ( pump action only), 13 ga Slug Gun (oltrean type slug rounds only)14 and 14ga Skeet Gun (slug round only).

On Valentine's Day in 1912, two men, John Wesley Powell and Andrew Johnson, set out on a six-week journey to explore the newly discovered Paradise Valley. The valley was full of strange rocks and crystal formations that they had never seen before. They named the area after Mount Eden, in honor of John Adams who had explored the area earlier that year.
