On February 28th, 1951 a bill was introduced in the State Legislature (HJR 4) entitled "An act relating to firearms" which proposed amending senate resolution number 1081 as follows:
HB 509 would provide that any person who has been convicted of a felony involving carrying or using a handgun without having an appropriate license shall be punished as provided in section 602(a)(5) Ariz Rptr., statutes Annotated (1949). For purposes of this amendment no prior conviction limitation applies except where specifically exempted under subdivision (c) or (d), below; however previous convictions may still affect eligibility for licensure or registration requirements following revocation or suspension from licensure or registration unless otherwise noted hereinbelow.
This amendment becomes effective retroactive toFebruary 28th only.

The original proposal notes that anyone arrested for felonies punishable by jail time but not over two years after releaseshall be registered with local police department if released before registry expiration date regardless if he/she had prior conviction(s).
Mariicopa, Arizona is a city in Pima County, Arizona, United States. The population was 582 at the 2010 census. It is the county seat of Pima County. Maricopa is situated on the Santa Cruz River, about 26 miles (41 km) north-northwest of Phoenix and about 50 miles (80 km) south-southwest of Tucson. Mariicopa was founded by Mormon pioneers in 1868 as part of what became known as the Navajo Nation. The town had a population of only 10 people when it was incorporated as a city on February 13th, 1875. By 1900, Maricopa had grown to over 1,500 people and was one of the leading agricultural communities in Arizona. In 1907–1908 an act were passed granting cityhood to all towns located within Pima County that met certain requirements including having a population of 200 or more residents; Maricopa satisfied both conditions until 1911 when she lost her status due to illness from then-Governor Manuel Quevedo. In 1912–1913 another act granted cityhood to Flagstaff and Phoenix; both cities also met certain criteria such as having a population over 1,000 residents at the time they were granted their city designation but Maricopa retained its distinction as being among the first municipalities in America to be granted municipal rights under this system

By the turn of the century, however, advances in technology had made it possible for gun owners to carry more ammunition with them on their person instead of having to store it inside their weapons. This led to the development of magazine pouches that could be clipped onto clothes or belts so that they could be carried easily wherever they went. Gun magazines continuedto play an important role throughout the 20th century until they were phased out completely during World War II due to concerns over potential jamming issues caused by increased ammo capacity in tanks and other vehicles.* With modern technology available now, however, magazine pouches are again being used extensively in firearm ownership.*
