The history of firearms in Lake Havasu City, Arizona dates back to the early 1800s. The first firearms were Old West style rifles, which were used by Native Americans for hunting and protection. In 1881, the United States government began a program to importitation firearms from Europe. This new arms program led to the development of the revolver. In 1907, gunmen killed six people and wounded nine others at an outdoor carnival in Prescott Valley. This event is often seen as the beginning of organized crime in Lake Havasu City. In 1945, General Leslie Ritchie established Camp Navajo on Cerro Gordo Mesa during World War II as a training ground for American soldiers. After the war, Camp Navajo was closed and turned into a campground. In 1957, local resident Clarence Ewell developed land east of town on Apache Road for what would become Blue Water Arsenal National Monument. The park opened in 1959 and today includes over 20 miles of NRA-developed shooting ranges including three 9MM handguns pits and two 5MM pistols pits with 350 yards each!

Smith & Sons began producing handguns in Lake Havasu City. At that time, pistols were considered less important than rifles and shotguns, but they soon became an established industry in the city. Many famous gunmen from throughout history have been associated with A.J. Lake Havasu City, Arizona is a city in the Phoenix metropolitan area, United States. The population was 671,737 as of the 2010 census. It is the largest city in Arizona and the second-largest city in Southern Arizona after Tucson. The name "Havasu" means "water receding back" or "descending river". The first people to live there were Pinchenegs who migrated from Mexico during the 15th century. When they were pushed out of their original home by Spanish colonizers, they moved upriver to what is now Mesa Verde National Park. They left behind evidence of their culture including pottery and stone tools found at various sites along the banks of the Animas River. In 1868, President Ulysses S. Grant named it Lake Havasu City after General George Custer's cavalry unit which had fought in Battle of Monterrey that year. At that time it was only a small town with a population of about 100 people near Fort Hays on opposite banks of the river. By 1870, it had grown to over 5500 residents and became one of five cities within Nevada Territory when that territory was organized on January 1, 1864. On July 14, 1912 Havasu became part of Arizona when it was admitted into the Union as a state following passage through Congress by an act calling for statehood for all territories east of Mexico not already states (including California). In 1915 Lake Havasu City annexed Army Aviation Field Noordell Air Force Base making it one of three military airfields within Arizona listed on I-10 outside Phoenix proper; Valley Stream Army Airfield also lies adjacent to Havasu City limits but does not have any military use today. On October 17, 1920 Main Street collapsed in downtown due to heavy rains caused by Typhoon Mahalanobis which spawned landslides across much parts southern Arizona including some areas around Lake Havasu City proper where water levels reached up to 30 feet (9 meters) deep! A total loss amounting to $3 million ($ today) made this one of most catastrophic natural disasters ever experienced in this country with fatalities reported among both local citizens and non-native foreigners living nearby while homes and businesses were swept away or destroyed completely! It wasn't until 1959 that construction began on what would become known as Northwestern Freeway which ran concurrently alongside First Avenue northward from downtown towards Scottsdale just south of Interstate 10 concurrent with US 95 southbound exit #8A immediately northwest Of Downtown lake HavasuCity giving rise To what is now Northwest Freeway Boulevard & First Avenue North

After years of planning and construction, the city completed its first street light installation in 1996 and today has more than 30 LED lights throughout its downtown area. In 2003-2004, lake Havasu City was selected as one of five finalists for USA Today's "Place To Live" contest; it received an award for excellence in community design. In 2007-2008, Lake Havasu City was chosen by Forbes as one of America's 10 best places to live according to their "Best Places To Raise A Family" report; this followed year round success with similar awards from national publications such as Town & Country magazine and Better Homes & Gardens
Lake Havasu City was founded in 1912, and became a city in 1925. The city lost its status as a city in 2003, but regained it in 2006.
