Both Factory locations were operated by brothers George & Harry Friedman who also ran a farm adjoining Third Avenue North near Indian School Road until their death in 1937 []. After World War I ended hostilities ceased between America and Russia and so much Hat production switched back to America however many continue being made today under license in other countries such as Hungary[ ]. In 1933, Armour & Co., manufacturers of military rifles began importing Feeling Hats from New York City into Phoenix because they found that local felt manufacturers did not meet their quality standards [] [] (). As word spread about Armour &Co.'s high standards for rifle Hats it quickly became apparent that there was demand for these hats even beyondPhoenix[] [] ]. From 1934-1935 Armour imported 100% felt hats into Phoenix from New York City[ ], marking perhaps the beginning ofPhoenix's long association with Firearms Manufacturing] [] ]. In 1935-1936Armour also opened up a factory specifically designed for Firearms Manufacturing within walking distance (just east off First Street)of downtown Phoenix[] [] ]. At this point Firearms Manufacturing began expanding beyond simply Hat production] ]], moving into other core activities such as toolmaking] ]], fabricating pistols etc.] ]]. However Gunsmithing remained an important aspect of Ammunition Manufacture followingArmour's departure[] [] ]. It wasn't until 1958 when Armoured Co.'s successor Brownells merged with Colt Industries creating what is now Colt Firearms Corporation] ])

The town status quo changed when Congress appropriated $5,000 to start construction on an aqueduct connecting Tucson with Prescott via Yuma Creek in 1876; this project created lake Havasu City as its permanent home. Lake Havasu City is a city in the U.S. state of Arizona and the county seat of Mohave County. As of the 2010 census, the population was 26,539. The city was founded on July 20, 1912 by George Wills Hutchison and his wife Alma Hutchison. It is named after Havasu Creek, which flows through the city. The first post office in Lake Havasu City opened on October 5, 1912. The current post office building was built in 1954 and has been used as a municipal building since then. In 1944, General Electric began construction of what would become Three Mile Island nuclear power plant east of town; when it became evident that this project could not be completed within its original budget, GE requested that the city provide land to build a new plant on behalf of GE instead. This led to Mayor Hutchison offering his home for use as an interim plant site until a new location could be found; during this time he also served as acting mayor for three days when Mayor James Ahern was unable to attend due to illness). On December 12, 1957, President Dwight D Eisenhower announced plans for Lake Havasu City to become one of five " Sister Cities" citiesrelationship with cities located along Interstate 10 between States Route 66 and Interstate 880 (the others being Albuquerque, New Mexico; Phoenix; Tucson); these relationships were terminated upon Eisenhower's death in 1961 without any actual action being taken by Congress or presidential policy towards these communities other than ceremonial designation only . On November 2nd 2017 it was announced that TheCityofHavasuCity had reached agreement with One World Trade Center LLC to rename itself One World Trade Center Phoenix - marking the first time an American city has received this name change specifically from an international airport
