In 1949, President Harry S Truman signed into law the National Firearms Act which classified all handguns with barrels less than 18 inches in diameter as curiosities subject to registration and destruction under state law. This prohibition on handgun ownership has continued until today; however, new loopholes continue to be created each year through various legislative initiatives that are designed solely to circumvent this ban or skirt around it altogether. For example, some states allow open carry while others still prohibit it altogether based on political correctness considerations alone! So while we may not see any major changes anytime soon regarding gun controls in America – there’s always room for improvement when it comes to how our country treats those who cherish life (especially those with Second Amendment rights).

Florence was founded in 1864 by businessman and politician George Prentice Wright. A post office called Florence was established in 1865, and remained in operation until it was discontinued in 1980. The town was named for Florence, Italy, where Wright had been born in 1847. After moving to Arizona in 1861, Wright began developing his property around what is now Florence Creek. In 1872, he donated land to make room for a Methodist church and school; these were later renamed the First Baptist Church and School (now known as Southern Cross University). When a railroad came through Florence in 1881, Wright offered to build it a depot if it would name its station after him instead of simply «Phoenix». The tracks were built through town and only later did people realize that this name had nothing to do with either him or Phoenix proper! In 1907, William Hite erected one of the first general stores west of the Mississippi River within Tucson when he moved from Prescott to establish an insurance company there. He also opened up Hite's grocery store on Main Street near modern day Gilbert Hospital (then known as GilbertMail Center). One year later, Harry Chandler erected another general store across from First Baptist Church on Third Avenue south of present day US 87/8th Street east of I-10 junction (the old route 67), making Florence one of the earliest towns east of Interstate 10! In 1912 Chandler sold his business interest in Hite's grocery store to Wm Ladd who operated it under that name until 1949 when it closed due to lack of customers! In 1916 local dentist Dr John Tuggle became head dentist at Southern Cross University after having completed training at Mayo Clinic where he works today! During World War II many businesses closed because war production interrupted sales; however most reopened soon afterwards due to renewed demand from buying materials abroad for use back home! One notable exception was Arthur Andersen which continued operations even though all its employees went into military service during World War II! After hostilities ended Danielson & Benson reorganized their accounting firm into Andersen LLP which still operates today as one half sister law firm with over 1 hundred lawyers nationally!!!
