The community’s economy is based around agriculture with some manufacturing operations being located nearby such as apparel companies ITC Clothing Manufacturing Co., Doña Ana Fertilizer Co., Smith Corona Ammunition Plant, Chrysler Jeep plant, Apache National Monument Headquarters Complex, Mesa Verde National Park Headquarters Complex, Fiesta Grande Mine and Eloy Casino Resort & Spa. There are also several restaurants including Casa del Rancho features Mexican food; La Cueva serves American cuisine; Vista Hermosa offers Italian cuisine; ToplessBar provides drink service; Navajo Wireless Telephone Service Company provides phone service to people who live off the grid; and Don Julio’s Mexican Eats serves American cuisine inside an old adobe building on Main Street across from Old Faithful Inn which used to be a post office before it closed down in 2006 for lack of customers because there wasn't enough business to justify keeping it open). In addition to these businesses there are also several churches including Our Lady Of Guadalupe Catholic Church opened by Hispanic immigrants fleeing persecution during World War II which seat up to 350 people along with an Evangelical church that services about 100 people plus a mosque that seats up to 120 people within Eloy's limits - all without having any impact on community life or commercial activity while giving access to religious expression without infringing upon other faiths or activities taking place within its boundaries!
