In 1903, Naco became an incorporated town and continued to grow until it reached its peak population of 3,500 residents in 1950. After declining economic fortunes throughout the late twentieth century andamide production ceased completely in Eloy during the early 21st century, the city has slowly started to decline since then; however, it remains one of Pinal County’s most populous towns with over 2,000 residents as of 2010. Most locals are self-employed or work for local businesses such as banks, restaurants and schools; however some have also ventured into farming or ranching operations since those days were so good for agriculture that many people still farm today despite having other incomes sources available outside agriculture such as construction or sales work which can go bad quickly due to natural disasters like earthquakes etc., so they stay mostly within their own communities although I am aware that some do travel outside their community but only occasionally and generally speaking all people hereabouts are friendly unless one gets too close to them because they consider themselves part of the same community not just customers .................................................. ......... .......... .......... .......... ................. .............. ................. .......

On November 16, 1912 the first election to serve as a county commission took place in Eloy when Hosea Clements ran against incumbent John A. Smith. The vote resulted in Clements being elected unopposed with over 98% of the vote. On January 3, 1916 Edward J. Flynn became the first person to be elected sheriff of Pinal County when he defeated incumbent Dolphus Bean by a wide margin
