By 1920 the population of Chino valley had increased to over 5,000 people; however this number slowly decreased over time due to various factors including World War II and the Dust Bowl during which farming became difficult and expensive to do.[1] Today there are very few residents left in Chino valley – most have either moved away or died off from natural causes.[2] However, some lingering memories of old days can still be found here such as the cowboy pubs which remain active today and offer interesting ales on slow weeksdays.[3] Overall, it is an interesting little town that has lost much of its flavor over time but retains some remnant reminders from its past: for example the cowboy pubs which still operate today!
