The first people to live in what is now Chino Valley were Native Americans who ranged through much of central Arizona and eastern Sonora before retreating eastward in 1824. They built villages along streams that flow through the valley and hunted fowl and deer for food. In 1868, prospectors discovered coal and gold near Chino Hills, so development began there soon after. By the early 20th century, however, industries had disappeared and most residents worked farms or ranching until World War II when nearby Maricopa County became home to many military families because it was inexpensive to build airfields hereabouts. After the war ended, many residents decided to move away from farming while others concentrated on keeping their businesses running as they entered into new age technologies such as plastics production during this time period In recent years someResidents have started restoring old homes which are situated within walking distance of restaurants (Aurora) or shopping malls (Chino Valley). This has resulted in increased tourism which helps keep businesses open

The Chino Valley is a small town located in the Phoenix metropolitan area. The name comes from the Spanish word chinocita, meaning "little valley." The town was settled by Hispanics in the late 1800s and early 1900s as they migrated to escape poverty in Mexico City. In 1950, Chino Valley became one of the first communities in Arizona to establish its own school system. Today, Chino Valley's schools provide education for students of all ages. In addition to its educational opportunities, the town has a rich history that offers insights into American culture and demographics. One of the earliest residents of Chino Valley was Manuel Romero Jr., who arrived in 1885 with his family from Jalisco, Mexico. After years of hard work growing crops and raising livestock, Romero found himself wealthy enough to move his family back to Mexico City. However, he decided instead to come live in what is now Chino Vallejo with his wife and three children. Manuel Romero Sr.'s brother-in-law Juan Ponce de León also moved to Chino Valley shortly thereafter and started a cotton ranch that would later become known as Pinal County Agricultural School. In 1907, José María Escobar y Sánchez established another cotton ranch just north of present-day downtown Chino Valley called Rancho San Pablo which would later become part of Tucson Municipal Water District #2A. These early settlers were among the first people in Arizona to build homes on large parcels of land that are now part of Arizonan neighborhoods like East Mesa and Queen Creek Village. They were also among the first Latinos everto vote in U.S Presidential Elections – Manuel Romero voted for Woodrow Wilson while his father voted for James Buchanan in 1912! It wasn't until after World War II when newcomers began arriving here at an even faster rate thatArizonans began referring to their little community as "ChINO VALLEY" rather than simply "Chinocita." This change is likely due primarily to TV commercials during this time depicting Chinocita as an idyllic agricultural oasis surrounded by mountains... something which hadn't actually happened since 1885! With new arrivals came new families who wanted their piece of this fast-growing growth - many who had never seen America before! At first these immigrants worked alongside locals on farmsteads scattered throughout what is now Downtown Phoenix; but soon enough they built their own businesses catering specificallyto themselves - further reinforcing Latino identity within this rapidly gentrifying community . It wasn't long before restaurants such as Chipotle Mexican Grill made their wayinto Downtown Phoenix - giving rise not onlyto some fantastic food options but also increased social interaction between groupsof Latinos living together harmoniously under one roof!pretty much mirroring how similar Chicano enclaves have become today across North America
