Today's community has recovered somewhat since then with several businesses present that serve both locals and visitors alike: an upscale convenience store (Grizzly), a large shopping mall with two anchor locations - Macy's and JCPenney - as well as several smaller retailers added over time including Jack In The Box (now Walmart) which opened its first location here in 1984; a veterinary hospital; a post office; an elementary school; a middle school; adult education classes offered by several churches (including one owned by Pat Robertson); numerous restaurants including three known for Japanese cuisine plus Navajoistani Chinese restaurant Ohana Mongolian Bistro which specializes in Nepalese dishes; two golf courses - one public ($14 million budget) while another privately funded ($7 million) contains 5 holes that are open only during summer months because of intense sunbathing season conditions - both closed fallow seasons according to press reports There are also plans underway to develop land adjacent to Interstate 10 so that it can become an industrial park with commercial development focused on renewable energy technologies. Although much progress has been made since 1990 when Chino Valley had just 2 buildings total – one grocery store/cafeteria complex & one convenience store – today's community includes more than 50 buildings totaling almost 4 acres providing access to Employment Services Department social services & educational opportunities for local children ages 6-18 years old along with 4900 square feet of commercial space available for lease or purchase currently occupied or under consideration by various developers .
