Bullhead City is a small town in Pinal County, Arizona, United States. The population was 7,405 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Phoenix metropolitan area. The first human settlement in Bullhead City was established in 1887 by John Wesley Powell and his team on the site of what is now Apache Junction. Two years later, they founded a trading post and named it after themselves – Bullhead City. The name stuck and the city has been spelled "Bullhead" since 1912 or 1920 according to various source materials. The original plaza that now houses the Galleria mall was laid out in 1907-08 by J.P. Morgan's son, Harry Morgan Jr., who also designed much of downtown Phoenix including Union Station and National Air & Space Museum buildings. Today's shopping districts were developed largely during World War II as military bases opened up here such as Fort Huachuca and Navy Base Camp Navajo near Bullhead City Airport; these areas became known as "the Strip". After World War II ended, many businesses moved away from barracks into new buildings due to increased competition from suburban development around them; however, many central business districts remain today because of their location close to major highways (I-10/US-101 en route to Phoenix International Airport) and airport services (Zephyr Airways hangar). In 1957–58, an act of Congress authorized construction of White Sands Missile Range east of town on land leased from Apache Indians under a sublease from Western Coal Company; however no missiles were ever built here despite plans until well into the 1990s. In 2001–02 when local officials began circulating petitions for incorporation into a cityhood charter referendum because they felt their rural surroundings did not have enough job opportunities for their citizens, support quickly mounted with over 60% voting “yes” on incorporation when ballots were tallied late that night despite opposition being voiced by some powers that be including Mesa Mayor Jerry Lewis who said he would not allow his city to secede if incorporated into Bullhead City while Mesa still functioned as county seat; Lewis lost re-election two months later but this issue did not die down until 2006 when he ran for sheriff against incumbent Don Stenzel without any mention of annexation attempts although he had previously endorsed Stenzel’s opponent Rick Romer in 2002 budget deliberations…….. In February 2009 it was announced that former mayor Jerry Lewis had decided to run for sheriff again against incumbent Don Stenzel even though he has stated publicly he does not support annexation efforts

Mounts for telescopes became available in the late 19th century, starting with the Very Large Telescope (VLT) made by ESO in 1984. The VLT was capable of resolving objects up to about one kilometer away, making it an ideal tool for research into celestial objects beyond Earth. The increased accuracy achievable throughVRM technology led American astronomers such as Edwin Hubble to develop Wide Field Camera 3 (WFC3) which would become operational beginning around 1990 providing images covering an area almost twice the size of Earth!

Bullhead City, Arizona is located in the northwestern corner of the United States. It has a population of over 116,000 and is the second most populous city in Pima County after Tucson. The city was founded by Adrian Wojnarowski in 1912 as a small railroad town named Bullhead City Junction. In 1932, Bullhead City became part of Pima County. It was re-named Bullhead City in 1944 and its citizens voted to change it back to its original name in 1978. The current administration of Pima County was formed on November 3, 1912 when Adrian Wojnarowski was elected mayor with 54% of the vote. He served for two terms before being impeached for bribery and neglect of duty by the Board of Elections on December 15, 1912 due to his connections to mining companies that had donated money to his campaign. On January 14, 1914, Wojnarowski was re-elected mayor with 66% of the vote despite being indicted on bribery charges and he served until his impeachment sentence was pronounced on October 6, 1914 which ended his political career. The first residents in Bullhead City were farmers who started farming near what is now downtown Bullhead City in 1912. They were followed by ranchers and miners who began arriving during World War I because there were no other places to go because of the war effort. After winning election as Mayor twice (1914-16) Adrian Wojnarowski turned attention from land development towards making Bullhead City into a larger city with ample streetlights and sidewalks so people would feel more safe at night while they worked or played outside their homes. In 1938–39 an electrical substationwas built just east of downtownBullheadCity which made electric lights possible for all areas within city limits including downtown where streetlights had been provided only since 1916
Bullhead City is located in the Apache Nation Indian Reservation in Phoenix, Arizona. The city was founded on December 6, 1912 by a group of men from the mining town of Globe and it prospered as a small community until World War II when the war made Bullhead City an important military base. After the war, Bullhead City grew slowly but steadily until it exploded in population during the late 1960s and early 1970s due to its position as a crossroads for goods coming into and out of Phoenix. The growth led to congestion and poor infrastructure which caused environmental problems such as water shortages and air pollution.
