The first gun magazines in Bullhead City, Arizona were established by Gibbons and Sons in 1892. The company produced a variety of firearms including shotguns, pistols, rifles and revolvers. The magazines were initially located in the downtown area of the city. By 1909, the company had relocated to an extant building at Fourth Street and Grant Avenue. In 1912, the company introduced a new line of handguns called the "Bulldog." At this time, Bullhead City was considered one of the most gun-friendly cities in America. In 1916, Gibbons and Sons merged with Woburn Arms Company to form Gibbons & Woburn Firearms Corporation. From 1916 until 1978, Gibbons & Woburn Firearms Corporation produced rifles and handguns under three different names: Bulldog Rifle Manufacturing Company (1916-1978), Phoenix Guns Manufacturing Company (1918-1968), and Western Gun Manufacturing Company (1924-1978). During this time period, Bullhead City became known as one of America's leading gun manufacturing centers. In 1978, Gibbons & Woburn Firearms Corporation ceased operations after several years of decline due to economic constraints. Today there are only a few remnants remaining from when Gunmagazine was founded over 100 years ago. Bullhead City, Arizona is a small city in the Phoenix metropolitan area. The city was founded on December 27, 1912 by J. C. Nichols and his brother, William H. Nichols as a trading post for Native Americans known as the Chinle Nation. The name Bullhead City was chosen because of its location at the head of the Bullhead River which flows through the city limits. The first businesses in Bullhead City were cattle drives and stagecoach stations that transported goods to Prescott and other nearby towns. By 1915, Bullhead City had become a major cotton town with over 100 textile mills operating in the city. In 1935, after World War II ended, bullion production in BullHEAD CITY dropped due to aircraft storage depots located near Phoenix making it difficult for traders to bring in bullion for resale Today, Bullhead City is home to a number of small businesses and cultural attractions including an art museum, several libraries, and numerous restaurants and bars. Despite its challenges,Bullhead City has managed to maintain a strong downtown core that retains much of its historic architecture from when it was one of Tucson's most important commercial districts

The first magazine was published in 1795, and it was not until 1836 that an act passed by Congress allowed rifle owners to carry more than one round per month in their magazines. The Federal Firearms Act of 1934 made it illegal for anyone other than licensed dealers to sell firearms without a license. The National Rifle Association (NRA) was founded in 1892 as the Second American Revolution Gun Club. It became known as the NRA in 1957 when it merged with the powerful American shotgun manufacturer, Remington Arms, Inc. In 1968, NRA headquarters were moved from Newtown, Connecticut to Fairfax County, Virginia due to increasing gun control activism within America. In 1994, President Bill Clinton signed into law the Brady Handgun Violence Prevention Act which required all handguns sold in the US must be registered with state police before they can be possessed or used. This effectively banned most handgun ownership by civilians outside of licensed dealers. Despite this ban, tens of millions of handguns still remain unregistered and wide open to theft by criminals and straw purchasers alike. In response to this proliferation of unlicensed handguns on American soil, Congress passed the National Firearms Act of 1968 which reinstated registration requirements for all firearms except those conversions into rifles or shotguns that had been performed at a federally recognized firearmssmith shop pursuant to specific regulations set forth by Congress. These regulations required that any firearm conversion must be done through a properly registered dealer and include a full physical inspection of every component including barrel/magazine connection(s), firing pins/studs etc., as well as serial number verification and certification from an independent safety inspector

Bullhead City is a city in Pima County, Arizona, United States. The population was 33,611 at the 2010 census. It is the county seat of Pima County. The name "Bullhead" comes from the Nahuatl word for "tea." Bullhead City was founded on November 3, 1875 by Chester W. Wallace and his group of miners as a stop on their way to Silver Reefs in what is now Mohave County. The first post office in Bullhead City was established on December 4, 1875. The town was named after Chief Bull Head who had been killed by an Apache raiding party while hunting near the site of present-day downtown Bullhead City. On January 24, 1886, it was renamed after Major General John Custer during the American Indian Wars when he Leadership surrendered at Camp Cooke within sight of Bullhead City. In 1907, there were only 10 residents in Downtown Bullhead City and 1 across the street at First National Bank; all other businesses closed due to prohibition that year. In 1912 there were 25 residents and 12 businesses; most heavy industry moved out towards newer towns such as Phoenix or Tucson during this time period including mining operations which ceased production in 1949 due to overpopulation and environmental hazards caused by asbestos mining Throughout much of Arizona Mogollon Rim country bullheads continued to be collected for their softshell clams until about 1950
Bullhead City was founded in 1912 by J.P. Morgan and other entrepreneurs as a cattle town on the Arizonan Tonto National Forest. The city rapidly grew, and by 1920 it had become a major rail center with stations at Bullhead City Airport and downtown. The city annexed neighboring towns in the 1930s, and growth slowed during World War II because of the military's need for airfields in Arizona. However, the city exploded during the postwar period, with population growth outpacing that of any other American town save Phoenix. The population reached 100,000 in 1960 but soon passed that mark again, reaching 150,000 by 1970. Growth slowed again during the 1990s as new subdivisions were built; however, by 2000 bullhead City had recovered to its pre-recession level of activity.
