The post office at $1 per oz (30¢ postage paid) until 1959 was also one of early pioneers when Russia started allowing commercial exports outside its borders starting in 1904! In 1959 USPS discontinued postal service within Alaska so package delivery became the primary way residents received their mail back home; this continues today as ground transportation into Fairbanks still relies heavily on USPS packages!

In 2003, Governor Sarah Palin announced her intention to expand Medicaid coverage into rural areas throughout Alaska due to high rates of poverty and illness among those who do not currently have access to health care through government programs. This would help provide healthcare for more people living below poverty lines and improve access to medical care for those who can afford it. As a result of this decision, abortion will now be allowed starting six weeks post-fertilization in all counties statewide
