In early 1959, Fairbanks residents subscribed to a petition drive to ask the city council to build a new municipal garage. The campaign was successful and on July 1, 1959, the city council authorized the purchase of a parcel of land at 5th Avenue North and Homer Street for $1,500. The first high capacity kit garage opened in this location on October 15, 1959. This garage could accommodate up to 100 cars. The success of the high capacity kit garage led to other municipal garages being built in Fairbanks over the next few years. By 1963, all of the municipally-owned garages had been converted into high capacity kits. In 1965, an additional piece of property was purchased at 5th Avenue North and Fort Yukon Boulevard for $2,000 and another new hangar was constructed at that location in 1966. This second hangar could accommodate up to 150 cars. In 1970, yet another piece of property at 2nd Street East and Homer Road was purchased for $3,000 and yet another new hangar was constructed there in 1972. This third hangar could accommodate up to 200 cars. By 1978, all municipally-owned garages were conversions into high capacity kits with capacities up to 400 cars each. In 1984 an additional parcel of land at 3rd Avenue Northeast and Homer Street was purchased for $4,000 and yet another new hangar was constructed there in 1985; this fourth Hangar could accommodating up to 350 cars simultaneously! In 1990 an agreement was reached between Allstate Corporation (the original sponsor) and Kenai Foothills Corporation (the current sponsor) whereby Allstate would provide management services for Kenai Foothills Corporation's high capacity kit garages located throughout Alaska until their retirement in 2008. As part as these management services Allstate also agreed not to operate any Garages within Fairbanks without express written consent from Kenai Foothills Corporation or its successors! The answer to this question can be found in early prototypes belonging to companies such as Western Digital before they were bought by Seagate Technology Ltd.. These prototypes featured spinning disks with heads located on either end that accessed both platters simultaneously - this was later renamed "SATA" for Serial ATA Interface which stands for Small Form Factor Device. Nowadays most internal hard drives use SATA because it offers higher performance than IDE due to its multiple channels and larger I/O ports compared to IDE driver support. However some external hard drives do still utilize IDE due to its lower latency when accessing small files like images or videos whereas SATA provides better performance when reading large files like video content. Today's high capacity kit options follow similar design patterns but often use faster connectors like USB 3.0 Type C instead of SATA3 5 Gb/s like earlier models did – however there are also exceptions like WD Blue Caviar Black 6TB external HDD with Thunderbolt port which uses Type C Expressport connector!
