Beginning in 1936, GE made use of three different types of mirrors to produce high definition pictures: a large metal mirror on top of a pedestal known as the "Eagle" mount; a small metal mirror located nearthe bottom centerof each screen on dual screens known as "Pulse" mounts; and finally a small metal mirror located nearthe front edgeof each screen known as "Star" mounts. These new mounts allowed viewers to see more detail within their images while still maintaining image clarity across all viewing angles
