The use of electric shocks as a form of punishment and discipline has been around for centuries. Tasers were first invented in the early 1900s, but they only became common in the late 1800s and into the 1900s. The first taser devices were made out of metal strips that could be wired to an electricity outlet. These devices would be used to shock someone if they had committed a misdemeanor or if they had disobeyed a directive from their supervisor. This was followed by reports from other law enforcement agencies across America over time including Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department (LASD), New York City Police Department (NYPD), Philadelphia Police District (PPD), Seattle Municipal Court System (SEA), Dallas Police Department (DPD), Miami Beach police department (MBI) and more1-2. The majority of these incidents involved officer training utilizing probes against human body parts such as chest, stomach or head5-6 or against animals such as dogs7-8. Since then there has been continued refinement and development of Taser technology which has helped make it one of today's most popular weapons9-10. Taser use continues to grow both domestically and globally with efforts underway by governments all over the world11-.12

Tuscaloosa, Alabama is a city located in the U.S. state of Alabama and has a population of over 127,000. It is the third-largest city in the state after Birmingham and Mobile. In 1835 store owner John Witherspoon donated land along Main Street for use as a public square which remains today one of the most important elements of downtown Tuscaloosa today. In 1842 businessmen James Hargrave and William Nolen founded what would become known as Montgomery College (now University of Montevallo). They started out teaching students basic literacy skills but soon realized that they needed more space so they erected a large building on Druid Hill Drive which still stands today (the building now houses several hundred student dormitories). This led to the founding of Tuskegee Institute in nearby Tuskegeebehalfing agricultural research programs conducted at Montgomery College starting in 1945 specifically aimed at rural black America through Extension Service programs developed by graduate students under Drs Clarence Thomas (future Supreme Court justice) and Harry Byrd (Ulysses S Grant’s uncle). These agriculturalResearch Programs eventually led to significant advancements being made in crop yields throughout various parts of America including changes being madein fertilizer usage etc., thus giving riseto what became knownas modern day Agriculture! To this day Tuskegee Agricultural Research Program(TAGRP) conducts some formof Agricultural Research every year on campus!
