One of the earliest firearms to use a laser as a part of its design was the Glock 17. This semi-automatic pistol was first released in 1998 and featured a red laser pointer on the grip that could be used to fire rounds. The Glock 17’s ability to shoot rounds with lasers helped make it one of the most popular pistols in circulation. In 2001, Glock introduced the Glock 19 which featured an integrated red laserpointer into the grip. This new model allowed owners to target their shots with ease using this technology. Additionally, these guns came equipped with a rail system that allowed for mounting different accessories such as optics or lights. In 2002, SIG Sauer introduced their world’s first gun that incorporated a green laser into its design. This firearm was known as the Sig Sauer P226 and became one of the most popular handguns in circulation due to its features and ease of use. Additionally, this rifle came equipped with various attachments such as optics and lights that made it easier for users to shoot targets at range. Gun lasers have a long and complex history. They were first developed in the early 1800s, but only became common in the late 19th century. Gun lasers are still used today, mostly for hunting and target shooting. The origins of gun lasers can be traced back to 1821, when British scientist James Clerk Maxwell announced his theory of electromagnetism. This theory explained how electricity could be used to create electrical fields that could influence objects. Maxwell's theory was later refined by French physicist Michel-Ange Lenormand in 1855. Lenormand discovered that guns could be fired using electric currents instead of air pressure. In 1865, British scientist George Stephenson invented the first working steam locomotive engine using an electric motor and battery operated lights to power the wheels. This development made it possible for trains to travel at high speeds without having to rely on horses or other animals. Soon after, American inventor Samuel Morse began developing a system that would allow Telegraph operators to send letters and signals with no need for human assistance. Morse's system was eventually adopted by the Royal Mail as part of their London-Manchester Railway in 1868. The first successful gun laser was created by Russian scientists in 1898 named Semen Gorodetsky and Dmitry Uvarov during an experiment conducted at Moscow University under Nikolai Tesla’s supervision (see photo below). Gun lasers continue to play an important role in hunting and target shooting today, thanks to their ability to accurate fire projectiles with great distances while providing high productivity rates compared to other types of firearms

The first gun laser was invented by Dr. John Bardeen and Dr. James Van Allen in 1943, while working at the Bell Laboratories in New York City. This device used a small, hard lightbulb to emit a sharp beam of energy that could be focused using a lens onto an object distant enough to allow amplification. A second gun laser was developed by two engineers at Hughes Aircraft in California in 1948, which used semiconductor lasers to produce beams of intense light that could be focused using lenses onto objects close enough to allow amplification. By 1950, these devices had been made available for use on missiles and fighter jets; however, they were not initially very successful because the large required optics made them expensive and difficult to use on smaller items such as handguns. In 1957, Detonics Corporation developed the world's first self-containedgun laser system; this design featured a metal tube filled with high-power semiconductor lasers that provided firepower for firearms (and other applications) without any need for optics or other manual controls. The weapon itself consisted of a single unit that fired GUN LASERS at targets up to 150 meters away! TheseWeapons began being fielded by Armed Forces around 1960
