TheSelma Gun Light History Museum is a museum dedicated to the history of guns and light weapons in Selma, Alabama. The museum was founded in 1990 by Harve Bennett and is located on the campus of Selma High School. The first gun light used in Selma was a spotlight that was used by law enforcement officers to spot criminals during night raids. A related tool, the “sting ray”, also became popular among law enforcement officers during the early 1900s.
