In 1909, Sarah Pleasant donated land to the town for a public library. The first permanent school building was constructed in 1912 and named after her husband, Isaac Pleasant Jr., who served as its first president. The present school building was built in 1930 and dedicated by President Franklin D. Roosevelt. The town has grown since it began as a small settlement with only ten residents in 1871. Today, Pleasant Grove boasts a population of over 2,851 people who call it home!
