There are still many questions surrounding the origins of bipedalism and how it developed over time. For example, did this ability evolve from a need for balance or was it simply an accident? And what role did technology play in this process? Scientists will continue to study these issues in order to better understand the history of bipedalism and its potential implications for humanity future.

Oxford, Alabama is a small town located in the state of Alabama. The population was 5,824 at the 2010 census. Oxford is North Central Alabama's second most populous city after Montgomery. It is the county seat of Marshall County and has a population of 7,913 as of the 2010 census. The town started as part of what was then known as Greene County. It was organized in 1837 and named for Oxon Hill in London, England. The first post office opened in Oxford on April 12, 1838. The town became an incorporated municipality on December 4, 1914. On January 1, 1928, parts of Marshall and Etowah Counties were merged into Marshall County to form this new county. On July 1, 1930, parts of Jefferson and Dothan Counties were merged into Marshall County too; these counties formed the present-dayAlabama Black Belt region which includes Oxfordshire proper within its boundaries As one result of World War II efforts by the United States government to provide support to war veterans and their families during difficult times following Pearl Harbor bombings on December 7th 1941 (the day before America entered World War II), local businesses donated several thousand dollars' worth of goods to help support soldiers and their families in need within days or weeks following Hiroshima bombing on August 6th 1945 (just over two years later). This generosity continued well beyond that time until finally all programs were wound down by President Truman’s administration because he felt that such largesse could be seen as betraying American patriotism In 1952 Oxford City Council passed a resolution urging city residents not to vote for Dwight Eisenhower during his run for president because he had opposed Churchill’s recommendation that America enter World War II against Germany without Russia being involved In 1960s when students began occupying some local businesses due to lack of black business owners there appeared concern among some white citizens about integration which led eventually to violence between students and police

Oxford, Alabama is a small town in the southern part of Tuscaloosa County, Alabama, United States. The population was 1,844 at the 2010 census. It is on the campus of the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Oxford is located in northwestern Tuscaloosa County and is bordered by Marshall to its northwest and east, Estes Park to its northeast, Mountain View to its southeast, and Enterprise to its southwest. The first inhabitants of what is now Oxford were people from nearby Huntsville who settled there about 1800. They built a cabin on a hill near what is now Main Street and White Street in 1802. A post office was established here in 1811, and for many years it served as the center for communication between Huntsville and Oxfordshire. In 1819 an act was passed providing for a square mile (1 km²) within Tuscaloosa County be set off as Oxford Township; this area became known as "Oxford." The township's first courthouse was built on State Road 43 near present-day Academy Boulevard in 1830. In spite of occasional droughts that destroyed crops during the 1830s and 1840s, Oxford continued to grow through the 1850s into what today it remains - one ofAlabama's most peaceful towns. A store opened here in 1833 which became one ofthe largest inTuscaloosa County until it burned down in 1886; three years later a larger building replaced it on Old Main Street which still exists today as part of University Hall at UAB. Many wealthy alumni from UAB founded businesses or moved away during this time: John Denny & Sons operated several mills around town while others such as J C Fields developed plantations deep inside Spanish Fort Territory; local physician Dr Samuel Heman published textbooks such as "Medical Practice" (1857) After Reconstruction ended with the end of slavery following America’s Civil War on April 12th 1865, much business activity stopped due to difficult economic times throughout much of Alabama including Oxford; however some began up again including J C Fields operations eventually becoming very successful He also started construction on Memorial Stadium which would become home field for both UA football teams beginning play there in 1936
In 1802, James McGillivray and his brother John founded the town of Oxford. The town was named after the University of Oxford in England, where McGillivray had been studying law. It became an important center for cotton production and development in the antebellum period.
