In 1927, Shooter's Bulletin moved from Sheffield Avenue to Fourth Street in downtown Mountain Brook. In 1938, Gun Owners' Publications Company merged with National Firearms Association to form National Firearms Association Magazine Incorporated (NFAMI), which operated as an armoire for all NFAMI member publications nationwide (including Shooter's Bulletin and Gun Owner’s Guide). In 1978, NFAMI merged with American Shooting Sports Foundation to form American Shooting Sports Foundation Publications Incorporated (ASSPI). As SPI’s parent company; ASPI is responsible for all editorial content published within ASSPI publications such as NRA News and Gun Owners Weekly

Mountain Brook is a small town in Alabama, United States. The population was 2,814 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Huntsville-Decatur Metropolitan Statistical Area. Mountain Brook is located in eastern Montgomery County and its western border is the city of Decatur. Mountain Brook was laid out in 1835 by John Brodtman. The community was named for Mount Brooke, an isolated peak in nearby Baldwin County that overlooked the town. Brodtman built a store and tavern on North Main Street and started to sell goods to settlers traveling through Montgomery County on their way to Birmingham or Mobile. By 1840,Brodtman had a grocery store, blacksmith shop, school, and two houses built; his son John A. Brodtman Jr., also a merchant, added a third house in 1851. When Alabama became a state in 1901, Mountain Brook became part of the new state capital of Montgomery; however, it continued to be served by its own post office until 1907 when it merged with neighboring Mountain View Post Office to form one large post office with an estimated population of 3,000 people (the largest municipal organization within Montgomery before 1933). In 1924–1925 Highland Park School District No. 2 opened operation at Mountainbrook Elementary School following annexation from adjacent Huffman School District #1 which closed its doors due to budget cuts during the Great Depression era (a time when public education throughout much of Alabama was either experimental or very poor). Highland Park dedicated its first building on May 1st 1925 and immediately began offering programs such as music lessons and physical education for students from grades K-5thinder were offered until 1963 when they were discontinued due to budgetary constraints brought about by then Superintendent Driscoll’s decision notto open any more schools after having awarded over $2 million dollars in construction grants between 1922-1926 alone which he used primarily towards building new elementary schools). The last student taught at Highland Park Elementary School graduated from class on November 15th 2003 just prior to Hurricane Katrina making it one of only twoAlabama public schools still open as of September 2005 after being damaged or destroyed by Hurricane Katrina while all other pre-Katrina rural public schools have been rebuilt/opened according to newly mandated federal regulations compliance with requirements set forth under President George W Bush's administration known as "No Child Left Behind."

Young also built a church which still stands today called Baptist Church of God of Jesus Christ (BCGJC). That same year, Springhill Township formed with the intent of annexing Mountainbrook as part of itsown territory. However, because there were already several towns within Baldwin County with similar names (Springhill being one example), no annexation occurred In 1840, Mable Crouse founded her own millinery business on Main Street which became known as Crouse's Millinery Store . That same year saw the addition of another store on Fourth Street when James Fenton opened his general merchandise store . In 1851-1852*, during Reconstruction* after America's Civil War*, MountainBrook became an all-black community under the guidance of Booker T Washington * who officiated at religious services at local churches *. A day school for white children also operated out of the millinery store until it closed in 1909 It wasn't until 1915 when Montgomery High Schoolwas constructed adjacent to Crouse's Millinery Store that all black students began attending school together rather than separately MountainBrook experienced some growth over time including becoming home to several businesses such as Blacksmiths Shop #2 which reopened following Hurricane Katrina; White Male Professional Engineers Greeting Club which met every week at lunchtime outside Mrs Fenton's grocery; and finally multiple homes developments starting around 1990 housing black families fleeing Jim Crow Laws throughout most ofAlabama

Mountain Brook was first settled in 1825 by Captain John Nicholson and his family. The town was named after the brook that flows through it. Mountain Brook's early growth came from its strategic location on the Alabama River, which made it a valuable trading post. In 1859, the town was renamed Birmingham because of the city's growth.
