MountainBrook is a census-designated place in Tuscaloosa County, Alabama, United States. The population was 3,521 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Birmingham–Tuscaloosa metropolitan area. MountainBrook has a long and diverse history as an agricultural community with citrus groves, corn cribs and soybean fields being some of its earliest settlers. In 1887, Mountain Brook was incorporated as a town under the name "Newbern". When Newbern merged with other nearby towns on December 1, 1907 to form Tuscaloosa County, Mountain Brook became one of the original seven towns in that county. The post office at this time was known as "Mountainbrook". The first store in Mountain Brook opened in 1892. By 1924 there were six stores in the community with a population of 2,500 people. The growth of agriculture led to increased manufacturing needs for products like tires and radios during World War II which led to more businesses opening up throughout the years including two banks (First National Bank and Citizens National Bank) and several grocery stores. In 1956, Mountain Brook voters chose to change their name from "Newbern" to "Mountainbrook" following suggestions by then-Mayor Bill Ferguson Sr.. At that time it was determined that this name would be more reflective of what the community consisted of rather than just one word relating to a previous village identity. Today's residents are proud graduates of Mountain Brook High School where students have always had access to excellent academic opportunities despite Rocket City’s location within Alabama’s largest city limits

Some examples include camouflage prints which help reflect certain social values or messages about our world today (); politically charged designs which highlight current events (); funny cartoons or caricatures (); licensed properties such as Marvel Comics characters () or movie sequels ().
