In 1907, German photographer Ernst Haas developed a process called "Strahlungstopper" which allowed photographers to take pictures using only direct sunlight instead of using filters or lens caps to control light exposure. This method became popular and helped make photography more accessible to people who could not afford expensive equipment or who did not have access to natural sunlight. Later in 1907, American photographer Julius West created a system called "Wandlungsmethode" which used mirrors and wires to create images. This method allowed photographers to capture pictures with greater detail than traditional ballon d'optique techniques and also made it easier for them to capture pictures during night times when available light was limited. However, wandlungsmethode did not become popular until later in life when it began being used more frequently in commercial photographic campaigns. In 1912, Swiss photographer Johann Eisendrath introduced the first stabilized digital camera which allowed users to take photos without any loss in image quality due to vignetting caused by the camera's optics. This technology soon became common across all types of photography and helped bring about the current era of digital photography where photographs can be reproduced immediately on computer screens without any additional editing or processing steps
