Finally, on December 15th 1907 The Ladies’ Home Journal published an article about how “A New Settlement Is Being Established at Homewood” which Included Photos Of People Living There And Describes How It Looks Today! During World War II many members of the military lived & worked at various factories throughout Alabama including those located at Muscle Shoals where they produced munitions for help win WW2! After WWII ended families returned home & continue living here today making up around 85% of current population!
