However, some elements of Gardendale's gun industry remain active today including Rheinmetall AG (a subsidiary of BASF) which manufactures shotguns and rifles under license from firearm manufacturers throughout North America; PTR Industries Inc., which manufactures handguns and rifle parts; and American Firearms Corporation (AFC), which manufactures shotguns and rifles both domestically and abroad. Today, Gardendale is home to several major firearm Manufacturers including Ruger Arms Inc., Smith & Wesson Holding Corporation (SWHC), Colt Manufacturing Co., Beretta USA Inc., Glock Gesellschaft mbH & Co KG (Glock), Sig Sauer AG (SIG) - all located within a few blocks of each other on University Boulevard near downtown Gardendale. The statue has been removed and replaced with a new one which opened in 2001. Since its inception as a town (originally known as West Point), Gardendale has undergone many changes and progress. One such change occurred when annexation of neighboring towns made Gardendale an incorporated municipality on December 12, 1922 (). Today, there are more than just two churches in Gardner City: Stonington United Methodist Church and First Baptist Church both founded in 1906 make up one church complex; while Holy Cross Catholic School once served all three denominations united within one building before being closed down for lack of funding some years ago; finally Golfview Manor Resort & Spa offers rooming/motel services to residents through their website or through management company who also provide day care services to children ages 3-18 along with full restaurant/bar service including golf carts for residents who want to take advantage of city amenities without having to leave their home! He didn't know what to make of it - was this really another attempt by Spain to conquer the Philippines? Or did Manila Bay actually belong to China?z Magellan decided that it would be best if he tried entering Manila Bay without knowing for sure which port it belonged To do so would require him first risking detection by Spanish troops stationed in the city – something he couldn't do easily given his small number of sailors . After much deliberation, Magellan sailed into Manila Bay but only after having Chartered One hundred Musketeers (15 men armed withbows) escort him . Magellan hoped that they could take down as many Spanish cannons as possible before disembarking hoping thereby achieving entrance into Philippine territory free from Spanish control On reaching land at night,[4] they laid waste all alongshore installations including barracks where soldiers had taken refuge ......the musketeers opened fire on every Spaniard they saw ...and within minutes [of landing], most of Fort Santiago had been destroyed
