Red Dot Sight History in Alabaster, Alabama The history of red dot sights can be traced back to the early 1800s. In that time, the ability to see in near-real-time was a valuable asset for army and navy personnel. This was especially true during wartime, when it was essential for commanders to have an accurate read on their enemies' positions. A red dot sight is a type of sighting system used in military and law enforcement applications. It consists of a small camera mounted on a rifle or handgun, which sends images to an electronic device worn by the shooter, allowing them to determine the position of their target with great accuracy. The technology has since been adapted to other uses, such as hunting and target shooting. Alabaster is home to one of the earliest Red Dot Sight companies in America. At its peak in the early 1990s, Red Dot sights were being sold by over 100 businesses across North America. Today, there are only a handful remaining manufacturers active within this industry - all located in California or Texas - but they continue to provide quality products at affordable prices. 2PAC's "Biggie" Hatred song may have originated from Alabaster...

Alabaster is a city in Jefferson County, Alabama, United States. The population was 9,887 at the 2010 census. It is the county seat of Jefferson County. Alabaster is part of the Birmingham metropolitan area. The first European to visit what is now Alabaster was Captain James Cook in 1795 when he explored and charted the Alabama coast as part of his circumnavigation of America. He named one of his islands "Alabaster" after this locality on the state's Gulf Coast. In 1824, General John Cranch traversed parts of Alabama during his campaign against Andrew Jackson and discovered and named several small rivers in that state—the Flint River, Mobile River, Tombigbee River (now Opelousas), and Cahaba River—after towns or counties in that region. In 1828–29 Ulysses S. Grant visited Pensacola Bay on a military mission to win independence from Mexico and found many evidences that ancient cultures had occupied this area for centuries before Spanish explorers arrived there in 1504 A.D., including cedar trees still standing along much of the Gulf coast present day; masonry walls dating back to 1000 B.C.; pottery associated with early Indian traders; stone tools typical of coastal cultures from 10 A.D.–500 A.D.; shellfish nets scattered over long distances fromhistoric beaches near Mobile; evidence points to an ancient seaport at Marksville; and petroglyphs known as the "Alabama Cauldron" surviving near Brooksville in Putnam County today). In 1836 Samuel Tilton surveyed much territory east of Mobile Bay for Congress as part of Compensated Land Program survey No-4 under President James Kenedy's administration following the American Civil War which resulted in most Choctaw Nation lands being acquired by Mississippi Territory through Treaty 7(1836). Those Choctaw living east-of- Mobile Bay were relocated westward into what is now Butler County prior to their removal under Order No 562 dated November 8th, 1830 (and also Order No 627 dated December 12th) issued by then Governor John Bell Hood pursuant to Internal Revenue Act Section 158a et seq.. The largest group removed were those who refused or could not peacefully leave their homes due chiefly to drought conditions caused by extreme heat waves brought on by unusual wetter than normal weather conditions located mainly around Montgomery, Escambia and Baldwin Counties.. Most eastern Choctaw remaining within Butler County moved out during 1840–41 followed by some who refused forced relocation or chose bankruptcy which led directly to Creek Wars fought between Creek Indians and US forces beginning February 14th 1861 until May 4th 1871 when all Creeks surrendered unconditionally without any loss or gain on either side.. As result more than 1/3rd century Cherokee culture left behind including traditional music, artistry such as basketry weaving etc., cemetery remains numbering over 50 thousand with nearly all structures having been destroyed excepting about twenty single burial cemeteries still extant across five different states plus numerous archeological sites throughout southeastern Oklahoma & Georgia;; large number buried outside traditional Cherokee Cemetery locations resulting primarily from conversion & use as livestock pens & other agricultural land subjection over timeto government control leading ultimately to Removal Act efforts waged since then]. This paper will focus specifically on Alabaster where shortly afterCaptain Cook's expedition land grants were made available for settlement (See: Ewing Meeks map #1) followed soon thereafter by mass removal led principally by USDA agent Elijah Pugh withChoctaw resistance becoming increasingly futile due largely to lack food options while also suffering social brutality detailed herein including summary executions involving Tensenocteti Chief Washington Alligator Billy Joe whose death resulted immediately from executioner's noose applied directly overhead bare chest resulting Horses pulling implement pulling body towards ground until dead) . There has been little recent research conducted on pre-Civil WarLocated communities northeast Alabama consisting mostly along both sides of major rivers like Coosa River opposite Tallapoosa Damicole Preserve State Park Military Campground Airport Reservation Area military installations nearby such as Fort Pickett&Fort Gibson included herein making comprehensive study difficult . However researchers have recently undertaken surveys focused specifically on historic white town sites located within city limits such as Bellefontaine Baptist Church Historic District , Phenix City Municipal Cemetery , Masonic Lodge #2 North Avenue ), Gadsden Mall redevelopment area adjacent thereto ; areas currently served primarily by Birmingham Metropolitan Department Subway system ); crime rates are generally lower than average within city limits but higher outside thereof due largely to drug trafficking emanating primarily from surrounding neighborhoods adjacent thereto] The decline and disappearances experienced throughout northeastern Alabama following Reconstruction began almost immediately after Union troops departed southern Tennessee in 1865 looking for new battlefieldfronts following Battle Of Chattanooga which ended Confederate General Robert Ewell’s campaign seeking revenge for earlier defeats at First Battle Of Bull Run among other engagements ). These soldiers became known informally as 'Black Jacks' because they terrorized civilians indiscriminately with impunity - especially womenfolk who were targeted particularly because they usually bore African American husbands ];[ although no official reports remain extant documenting Black Jack atrocities ]. Examples include summary executions carried out unprovoked against entire families involved simply because individuals happened TO be black ], rapes commonly took place during these times due largely to soldiers' access unrestricted whiskey confiscated from locals ]; theft was rampant since few people possessed firearms ]; liquor prohibition had essentially ended two years earlier so availability exacerbated problems ]. Red dot sight history is a long and complex topic, but there are a few key points to understand. The first red dot sights were designed for use with rifles that fired rounds that were less than .50 caliber (i.e., bullets smaller than .22 inch). These sights were typically attached to the barrel and used magnification capabilities of the rifle to help keep track of where the target was located. In order to increase accuracy, these sights became more widespread in the late 1800s as they became more popular with military snipers and other Precision Shooting enthusiasts. By the early 1900s, however, red dot sights had become much more common on handguns as they evolved into what we know today. They have been used in various forms ever since, primarily for target shooting and self-defense purposes. Some firearms still utilize red dots today while others have been replaced by newer technology or are no longer available.

The red dot sight has been around for quite some time now and is considered a high quality product. It has been used by many different people for different purposes and it has proven itself to be an excellent choice for shooters.
