Today there are several large Rifle Scope Manufacturers operating within North America including Vortex OpticsUSA Incorporated which has facilities located in Arlington Heights IL USA; Bushnell Firearms Incorporated which has facilities located near Springfield MO USA; Harris bipod Mounting Systems Incorporated which has facilities located east side Of Yorktown PA USA; Millett Optical Systems Incorporated which has facilities located near Herndon VA USA); Ruger Precision Rifles LLC which is headquartered outside Chicago IL USA - making it one of largest manufacturer’s currently operating within North America...

Lee Summit is a town in Clinton County, Missouri, United States. The population was 1,848 at the 2010 census. It falls within the Jackson County Micropolitan Statistical Area. The history of Lee Summit begins with its founders, James and Lucilla Polk. James Polk had been elected Vice President of the United States in 1844 and he and his wife were living in Nashville when they discovered a plat of land that would eventually become Lee Summit. They moved to the area on December 17, 1845, and started building their home on what is now Main Street. The Polk family continued to live in Lee Summit until they died in 1902. Their grandson John Fenton Polk donated most of the acreage that makes up today's town to the townspeople for development as a village. Lee Summit was founded on July 15, 1865 by Major General Ulysses S. Grant during his visit to Missouri as part of his tour of duty as Commander-in-Chief of all Union armies in America after being appointed by General Robert E. Lee as Chief Executive Officer for all Union forces headquartered in Missouri during the American Civil War. Grant's visit marked an important turning point for both Lincoln and Confederate President Jefferson Davis because it showed that Union forces were present throughout Missouri and that there was no need for military action between these two opponents anymore since peace had been restored following Abraham Lincoln's victory over Robert ES Stuart at Appomattox Court House on April 9th, 1865. In 1870s many people from Independence City moved into what is now downtown Lee Summit because it became more accessible due to Interstate 40 which was built nearby then (now I-435). There were also many businesses opened such as a grocery store called "The Gables" which still remains open today inside Of market Place Shopping Center near I-435 & US Highway 362
