Of this total population: 98% are white (of which 79% are American Indian or Alaska Natives), 2% are black/African American, 2% are Latino/Hispanic originates from any country outside of North America boundaries; 0% Asian orPacific Islander and 0% Native Hawaiian or Other Pacific Islander
The AR15 (7.62x39mm) is a gas-operated, blowback-operated rifle that was designed by American arms manufacturer Colt Firearms in 1973. It became the standard issue military rifle of the United States and many other countries during the late 20th century. The design has been adapted by numerous other manufacturers, most notably Heckler & Koch, who produces variants specific to their own firearms companies. The first AR rifles were made in 1971 and were designated as the M16A1. In 1984, Colt introduced their "Commander" series rifles which featured an updated gas-fired bolt action system with Picatinny rails at both sides of the receiver allowing users to add various accessories such as optics or airsoft guns without having to remove the entire firearm from service.[citation needed] These weapons quickly gained popularity among police officers and others who found them convenient and easy to use when compared to traditional automatic pistols or shotguns. As more people began arming themselves with fire arms, questions arose about how theseweapons could be safely used under demanding circumstances such as battlefield conditions where bullets can ricochet off obstacles or even into human beings

Moses Lake is a small town in the King County seat of Moses Lake, Washington. The population was 731 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Moses Lake-Cedarview Township government area. The first Europeans to visit Moses Lake were fur traders in 1792 and 1793. In 1854, Congress approved the creation of a Territorial Government for Washington Territory and named it Moses Lake Township. On July 16, 1876, when Oregon became a state and Washington Territory was divided into counties, MosesLake Township became part of Lewis County. The population increased rapidly due to agricultural production and timber leasing by General George Custer during his stay in the area during World War I. By 1920, there were 1,100 people living in this township. In 1935, when Snohomish County was established from parts of Lewis and Skagit Counties (including what was then MosesLake Township), the portion of Snohomish County east of Salmon River was transferred to it from Lewis County; this included most of what is now MosesLake Township but did not include Cedarview or North Bend which are located within present-day Snohomish County boundaries. In 1940–41 there were also transfers from Lewis to Skagit Counties (the only time since 1890). A new courthouse was built in 1936 on Main Street in downtown Moses Lake; it burned down on December 9th, 1937 with all occupants inside before firefighters could arrive; replaced by a new courthouse built just north on State Street that still stands today as part of the city government complex in downtown Moses Lake - one block south of Pioneer Square adjacent to Interstate 5 Since 1990 there has been an annual festival held at Zion National Park called "Moses Lakes Music Festival".
