At that time, only 160 residents lived there; today's population exceeds 611,000 people living primarily within downtown boundaries – nearly all of them within easy walking or bike riding distance of both casino districts that make up much of Sin City: Circus Circus Boulevard just north from Main Street/Shoppes along Fremont Street south from 4th Street/ Stardust Avenue eastward), some inside those districts including Flamingo Road/Kirkland Drive which bisects Downtown before crossing South Strip near Sahara Avenue then going northeast on Tropicana Avenue into town limits (and thence into Arlington Heights). It wasn’t until 1912 when orange juice entrepreneur Augustus Webb decided to open a small bottling plant heretical to big-time bottled water producers elsewhere that things REALLY got moving for sure! Webb named his new company Samuel Adams Orange Juice Co., Inc., but actually started making juice back at his old digs on Charleston Boulevard & Pioneer Square about a year later – right around Valentine’s Day 1912! Ever since then many believe it started out withe ussef “Old Hoss” Al Smith! *cough* cough* All kidding aside though we ARE pretty proud our namesake still hangs down like an Old Hollywood era colossus today
