It burned down in 1951 and was replaced by another hotel which remains standing today - "El Dorado Springs Resort & Spa". The resort features three restaurants: The Gables Inn (now closed), El Dorado Hills Hotel (now Vivian Place), and El Rancho deluxe (closed). Ridgecrest also has a small shopping district known as Main Street that includes several stores such as Sprouts Farmers Market (), Pep Boys () and Dollar General (). There are also several businesses that have been around for many years like Piggly Wiggly (), CVS Pharmacy (), Safeway (), Wells Fargo Bank () and Sears ().
